On the topic of patio gardens: green peppers grow surprisingly well if you plant them in a litter pan (preferably unused) and I really was amazed by how well my topsy turvy tomatoes grew. Granted, I didn't get a ton of fruit from the tomato plants but I think that was a function more of the lacking pollinator population than the topsy turvy.
ReplyDeleteInteresting - I was thinking of a hanging tomato so that might be a good way of doing it. I also saw in one of my seed catalogs that there is a patio blueberry bush. But that also makes me feel like I'd be pushing our space a little the first year out.
